I thought this would also be a great place to share and preserve my old recipe cards.  Some have seen better days, but the ones that my mom has written are extra special.  Her recipes, and cooking in general, is, and always has been the best.  Here are some to get me started:

This recipe is from a cookbook I bought when I was stationed at Minot AFB.  It's from one of the cookbooks the squadron put together.  I love those kinds of cookbooks that everyone contributes to. 

Mom gave me this recipe, and I used it when I made sausage gravy. (if I don't use the packets, which I usually do these days) I never in my life had biscuits and gravy before until I went to boot camp. Can you believe it?

Everyone says this is great for baby potatoes too!  I've just haven't tried it yet.

That reminds me, I have some shredded zucchini in the freezer i need to use up!
